Appatha, a Tamil film directed by director Priyadarshan, has been selected as the opening movie at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Movie Pageant. Starring Urvashi, the approaching movie is billed as “a wonderful tale of an not likely bond” which reveals the values of respecting your mom and dad and finding oneself.
In accordance to a push launch issued Wednesday, the screening of Appatha will be held in Mumbai on January 27 at the Films Division Complex.
Priyadarshan explained the team is “honoured” that his directorial Appatha has been selected as the opening film at the festival.

Appatha is created by Hardik Gajjar with a screenplay by Priyadarshan and Deepthi Govindarajan.
