Drivers have been warned to be expecting ‘heavy delays’ following a lorry overturned on a motorway.
The lorry turned on its side on Tuesday evening, with Higher Manchester Police’s targeted traffic unit reporting that they had been on the scene on the M60 exit slip highway at Junction 22 at all over 5.50pm.
The driver was not wounded but officers warned that they would be taking some time to make the scene protected.
A Increased Manchester Law enforcement spokesperson said: “Heavy delays on the M60 ACW exit slip highway Junction 22.
“The driver is uninjured nonetheless protracted recovery is to adhere to.”
They extra: “Enforcement of pink X breaches is in development as well, with quite a few motorists placing us and Highways England team at hazard by disregarding these.
