A youthful boy on a bike has been hit by a bus in Bolton town centre this afternoon, Friday.
The incident happened at the junction amongst Vernon Avenue and Prince Road ar all around 1.40pm.
Better Manchester Police has confirmed the bicycle owner was a young boy and has described the collision as a “severe incident”.
A pressure spokesperson has mentioned: “At approximately 1.40pm now, Friday, officers ended up referred to as to reviews of a street visitors collision involving a bike owner and a bus on Vernon Avenue in Bolton.
“A scene is in location at Vernon Street and Prince Road and road closures are in area.
“The investigation is ongoing.”
Motorists in the space are getting advised to choose and alternate route as “crisis services will be on scene for the foreseeable long run”.
A spokesperson from Increased Manchester Fireplace and Rescue Services extra: “Just following 2pm this afternoon, Friday, December 30, the technical reaction unit from Leigh was known as to stories of a highway targeted visitors collision involving a bus on Vernon Street, Bolton.
“The crew arrived speedily at scene and worked to make the location secure.
“One particular individual was taken to the clinic by colleagues from the North West Ambulance Service.
“Firefighters were being in attendance for all-around an hour.”
North West Ambulance Support verified that they took one particular man or woman to medical center.
