ATLANTA — Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Cameron Batson was arrested by Atlanta law enforcement early Saturday morning and faces several costs following allegedly staying concerned in an altercation with an officer and fleeing the scene.
According to a statement presented to The Linked Push by the Atlanta Police Section, an officer noticed a pickup truck speeding and failing to maintain its lane at about 2 a.m. Saturday.
The officer stopped the auto and noticed that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. The statement stated Batson resisted the attempts of the officer “and violently fought with the officer.”
The officer discharged his firearm but no a single was struck, the assertion explained, and Batson returned to his vehicle, remaining the scene and crashed a limited distance absent in advance of making an attempt to flee the scene.
The assertion stated “multiple officers canvassed the area” and arrested Batson, who was making an attempt to hide.
The officer and Batson had been taken to a regional healthcare facility for accidents they been given throughout the altercation.
